Dr. Christine Trainer Haas is a licensed psychologist practicing for over 20 years with expertise in psychotherapy with adults, adolescents and school age children. Dr. Trainer Haas earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Arizona State University, completing her doctoral Internship Training at the Sepulveda VA in California. She received her Master degree in Human Services Psychology from LaSalle University and bachelors in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University. Dr. Haas specializes in treating anxiety, such as excessive worrying, social anxiety, OCD and panic disorder. Other clinical areas include parenting, depression, relationship issues, chronic health issues, grief and loss, and ADHD. While Dr. Trainer Haas has training in several treatment modalities including insight-oriented therapies, she gravitates to mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy. Dr. Trainer Haas was formerly on the faculty of LaSalle University’s Graduate Program in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology and taught in both St. Joseph University’s Undergraduate Psychology and Graduate Health Psychology Programs. Dr. Trainer Haas practiced as a staff psychologist in the Counseling and Personal Development Center at St. Joseph’s University prior to joining Margiotti & Kroll Pediatrics. She has been with MK Plus since its inception. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, and the PA Psychological Association.
Dr. Stacey Gutman completed her masters degree in counseling psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent therapy, followed by her doctorate in clinical psychology at Chestnut Hill College. Through her training and career, she has focused her experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is experienced in a wide range of presenting problems including behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relational difficulties, and family conflict. Dr. Stacey approaches individuals and families understanding that there are many systemic factors that can impact each person. Her focus is on supporting the family in addition to helping the individual as they learn skills and develop coping strategies.
Dr. Stacey also conducts assessments. Her assessments are able to look at a wide range of areas including cognitive abilities (IQ), academic difficulties, attentional concerns (ADHD), evaluating mood / personality (Anxiety, Depression, etc.), and assessing for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Assessments provide key information on how an individual learns, approaches tasks, and where their strengths and weaknesses are. This information helps Dr. Stacey provide individualized recommendations to help maximize success.
Dr. Angelika Montalbano is a licensed psychologist providing therapy and assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. She obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Chestnut Hill College in 2012. Prior to the pursuit of her doctoral degree, Dr. Montalbano obtained her master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in 1999. During this time, she worked for several years in a New Jersey hospital setting on the inpatient child psychiatric crisis unit. Here, she worked as a part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, assisting children and their families with coping during this difficult time. During her tenure there, she went on to be part of the hospital’s first Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for both children and adolescents. After moving to the Philadelphia area to pursue her doctoral degree, she began work at a nationally recognized children’s hospital in Philadelphia as the coordinator on a large research grant to assess the impact of parental depression on children, providing administrative oversight, as well as providing structured evaluations to the parents and children involved in the project. Dr. Montalbano’s predoctoral internship included therapeutic work and outreach with young adults in a college counseling setting, while her postdoctoral work involved work in an outpatient mental health setting providing therapy and assessments to children through adults. As a therapist, Dr. Montalbano enjoys working with all stages of development, ranging from childhood through adulthood. She has specific clinical interest in working with individuals experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and grief. She received clinical training in psychodymanic, and system therapies, and continues to pursue continuing education opportunities in cognitive behavioral treatments. Dr. Montalbano aims to walk alongside clients as they work to see their problem in a new light, thus enabling them to harness the power to create change.
Dr. McCaffrey is a certified school psychologist. She is experienced working with children and parents as they negotiate concerns that arise in preschool, kindergarten, and into the primary grades. Her focus is on supporting parents and their children as they develop coping strategies and problem-solving skills to negotiate anxiety, social, and behavioral concerns in the early school years. Dr. McCaffrey earned her undergraduate degree from Temple University, a master’s degree in early education from Chestnut Hill College, her School Psychology Certification from Bryn Mawr College, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Chestnut Hill College.
Dr. Karen Daddona is a licensed psychologist providing therapy services to children, adolescents and their families, as well as to adults. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Fordham University in 2009, after completing a master’s degree in psychology at American University. Dr. Daddona completed her internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she worked in a variety of outpatient settings for children and adults, including specialized training at the Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents. She completed her postdoctoral training at the Joseph J. Peters Institute in Philadelphia. Her training and work experiences include inpatient and outpatient clinical work as therapist, as well as providing assessment. Prior to joining MK Plus, Dr. Daddona worked as a counselor at Holy Family University’s counseling center.
Dr. Daddona has specific clinical interest in helping clients who experience anxiety, mood issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, life transitions and loss, as well as social skill needs. She also has specialized training in helping children and families heal from the impact of trauma, and is currently acquiring additional training to better support LGBTQ youth and their families. Dr. Daddona’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing largely on a cognitive-behavioral approach with the incorporation of other evidence-based techniques. In working with clients of all ages, she values the therapeutic relationship as a supportive foundation as clients realize their strengths and learn pragmatic skills for managing life’s challenges. She also recognizes the need for child and adolescent therapy to be creative and engaging.
Dr. Rachel Jacobs is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her graduate degrees through Immaculata University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association. Her predoctoral internship, as well as one of her predoctoral practicum experiences, was completed working with children and adolescents at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country.
Dr. Jacobs bases her current practice in the behavioral approach she learned through her internship training while also incorporating aspects of Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has extensive training and experience working with people at all stages of life, but specializes in working with children and adolescents. She is able to provide individual, family, and group therapies, as well as diagnostic and educational assessments. Dr. Jacobs is currently on the Board of Directors of Season of Friends, a non-profit summer program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays.
Since 2020, Dr. Jacobs has worked exclusively with children and families by completing evaluations for Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and Family-Based Services (FBS) prior to joining MKPlus . She has found this work to be both challenging and rewarding. She also has a range of prior experience working in outpatient, inpatient, home, school, and children’s residential settings. Dr. Jacobs is passionate about working with children and adolescents and understands the great need for mental health services. Her hope is to make a lasting impact on the development of those with whom she works.
Dr. Katelyn Coffey is a licensed clinical psychologist and earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College with a concentration in psychological assessment in 2018. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Chestnut Hill College Psychological Services Clinic, where she provided individual and family therapy, and conducted psychoeducational testing. Dr. Coffey then completed her postdoctoral training at Growth Opportunity Center, with a continued focus on therapy and psychological assessment.
Dr. Coffey conducts psychological assessments for individuals across the lifespan, and has experience evaluating cognitive abilities, executive functioning, academic and achievement abilities, mood and personality, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. During the evaluation process, Dr. Coffey works with families to assess strengths and weaknesses and provide direction and support.
