Therapy Services

Individual Therapy

Have you ever been in therapy before? If not, you might have some questions, and we would love to help. If you have been in therapy before, you probably already know that therapy can cover a range of experiences. You’ll also know that the experience of being in therapy can vary significantly given which therapist you work with. That being said, it’s very important to us to match you or your child with the right therapist for you. We offer therapy on a one on one basis, with adults, adolescents and children. With younger children we often work with your child and you together as well as individually. We operate primarily from a collaborative approach.

Role of the Therapist

The role of any therapist working with young people is first to understand them, hear them as they are, help them adapt to current elements in their life that they can't change, and help them identify what they can change. We are honored to help young people grow on the path to adulthood! The job of any therapist working with adults is very similar – we want to help you on your journey too.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a branch of psychotherapy focused on families and couples to nurture change and development. It tends to view change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members.

Family therapy can involve any combination of family members.

Our skilled clinicians are able to address a wide range of  concerns. Some areas that we can help address include

(but are not limited to):

Depression

Anxiety

Relationship Concerns

Stress

Grief and Loss

Parenting Difficulties

Obsessive Thoughts

Executive Functioning Challenges

Chronic Illness

Life Changes

and more.

Additional Therapy Information

How to Begin

Give us a call or send us an email!  Once we speak to you or receive your message, our intake coordinator will give you a call back (typically within 24-48 hours). During this phone call, additional information will be obtained to best understand your therapy needs.

The information will also help our team determine which clinician will be the best match.

We will try to accomodate any specific clinician requests, but cannot guarantee their availability.

What Makes a Good Fit?

Our practice provides outpatient mental health services. This typically means that therapy sessions occur once a week for a 50 minute session. We strive to ensure that this is the proper level of care based on your needs.

Fees

Our office does not take insurance. Therefore, all therapy services require direct out-of-pocket payments at the time of service. The hourly session cost will be discussed  before you begin to ensure that you are fully informed.

Many clients choose to submit their paid receipts to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. We will provide you with the receipts showing your payments for sessions, along with the CPT code(s) and any diagnosis code(s), allowing you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Our clinicians would be considered out-of-network providers.

Our office assistants are here to help with this process if you need further assistance.

No Surprises Act

Pennsylvania works hard to ensure the safety and care of consumers of mental health services. As part of those efforts, providers are required to present a good faith estimate upon request or upon scheduling a service. At Cambridge Lane Psychology Group, we will ensure that you will always know the cost associated with a service before any appointments are scheduled. This includes the hourly fee for therapy services, and any associated fees for additional services.

Crisis

We DO NOT provide crisis or emergency mental health services.

If you, or your loved one is in crisis, please call the suicide and crisis hotline at 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. Additional crisis numbers and information can be found at: https://www.buckscounty.gov/1020/Crisis-Services

Other

For additional questions regarding therapy services, please call the office and we will be happy to provide any answers.
